The team allocation will be done  a day before and it will be announced to the members before the comp. The online entry will be closed 31st of March 17:00 AEST. Note: US$100 voucher deal for online game development course will be ended 28th of March 17:00 AEST. *, if we do not have an even teams of three due to the final numbers, we may have to change the format a little to suit.

JUDGING

 

Riders will be given maximum points for performing in the most difficult part of the wave, selected for quality and size, for the longest time using the widest range of functional manoeuvres involving the highest degree of difficulty.

Scores shall be whole numbers in accordance with the criteria below.

1 – Rider successfully stands up for a brief moment with hands off the surfboard’s rail

2 – 3 - POOR ride in this range will signify poor control and one or two badly executed manoeuvres.

3 -4 FAIR ride with reasonable control & one/two basic manoeuvres reasonably well executed.

4 -6 AVERAGE ride showing control over basic manoeuvres & executing a major/radical manoeuvre.

6 - 8 GOOD ride showing good control while doing a succession of basic manoeuvres, and at least two radical manoeuvres.

8 -10 EXCELLENT ride with full control while executing a series of major radical manoeuvres.

Other considerations:

Take-off Difficult/late/natural hazards. Control/stability.

The Ride Use of the waves power. Manoeuvres, number and difficulty. Control and recovery.

Finish Length of ride. Clean or uncontrolled finish.
